WHAT IS SACRED HEALING AND THE SACRED HEALING APPROACH?

Cultures across the globe have arisen from communities that once honored an inclusive, integrated, and compassionate approach to healing that we refer to now as the Sacred Healing paradigm. In this approach to healing, we take the very best medicine available to us, as did those great healers that have come before us. We use modern medicine, holistic medicine, psychological, and mind-body or energy medicine. In this way, we take charge of our own healing, maintain a state of being that is as balanced and strong as possible, and empower ourselves to heal.

DO I HAVE TO BELIEVE IN ENERGY MEDICINE OR THE HEALER TO BENEFIT OR HEAL?

No, you don't. Healing will happen regardless. In the Sacred Healing Sanctuary's healing sessions, the healer is moving into a state from which she holds you and your body. Some people call this an energetic state or a state of consciousness. From this state, the healer is able to assist you in shifting your state as well often moving clients out of fear, anxiety, worry, or pain. Then she generates a healing force and sends it to the body. The healer engages in a type of conversation with your body, one that empowers it, strengthens and nourishes it, and guides it back to a happy, healthy, strong blueprint. The body then responds sometimes instantaneously and sometimes more slowly, over time with healing.

HOW DOES DISTANCE OR REMOTE HEALING WORK?

Distance or remote healing is a particularly curative session because the healer shifts herself into a very powerful state from which she generates and sends the healing force or energy. In this way, the healer is resting in her natural state of being, beyond her body, and capable of accessing a very potent healing force. Resting in this non-local state, the trained healer is capable of being with you and she has many ways to deliver the healing. At the Sacred Healing Sanctuary, Julien DuBrow works primarily with this method of healing because of the bond, or connection that it creates between her and the client. The more the client is able to rest, and relax into their own natural state, the more beneficial the healing is.

HOW DO I KNOW IF I'M WITH THE RIGHT HEALER AND HOW MANY SESSIONS DO I NEED?

We suggest having 3 sessions with a healer before you decide if you are a good fit. You will know because within a few days or week of a session, you'll feel better, more centered, and resourced; you will notice the body responding and you'll want to return.

Healing with Julien DuBrow involves not only working with the physical body but with the state of mind and emotions as well. Most people feel a difference right away. Even when the condition is healed, many people come to sessions on a regular or monthly basis to keep themselves mentally, emotionally, and physically strong and centered.

In general, healing sessions can work very quickly. Many conditions can change right away, but it depends on the person, the condition, and the state you're in. When things have been chronic or when working on reversing a so-called terminal diagnosis most people come as often as they can and join the ongoing support group and healing circles each month to stay in the healing field, and the healing mindset until they heal.

DOES THE HEALER REALLY DO THE HEALING OR IS IT ME? WHAT IS MY PART IN ALL THIS?

Yes, the healer really does do the healing. You can just rest knowing you are being held and the body is being directed in many ways, to heal. Energy from within you and outside of you is being directed to support and nourish the body. And the condition will respond.

At the same time, YOU are also doing your part. The more you learn to stay in a state of healing mind and emotions calm, focused on good things while directing the body to heal the more your body will respond and maintain its healing. The Sanctuary has resources to help you learn how to do this. We recommend that everyone take the FOUNDATION COURSE (learning how to take charge of your own healing) and do a daily healing or mind-body practice as well.

WHAT IF I DON'T FEEL WELL OR GET WORSE AFTER A SESSION?
It's rare but sometimes after a session the body may respond by detoxifying or emotions and memories may arise that are uncomfortable. We call this an "energy reaction" or "Chi reaction" and it's usually a sign that the body is healing - it is letting go of what it doesn't need and moving back into harmony. However, if you feel that what is arising is too strong, please let us know (email or call). We'll respond to let you know we've received it and Julien will work on you remotely to calm/slow things down.
